We will work with you to plan for sustainability from the outset of a digital collections or exhibition project. We provide guidance around Harvard Library’s core digital collections infrastructure and how using it can make your project accessible now and in years to come.
Some digital collections projects predate Harvard Library’s core digital collections infrastructure. We can analyze what work would be required for the project to be migrated to Harvard Library’s systems. When appropriate, we coordinate migration. When migration isn’t feasible or desirable, we can provide guidance around gracefully sunsetting digital collections and exhibitions, as well as referrals to other units that can provide services such as web archiving.
