Announcing the Digital Collections Discussion Group

Charge

Under the guidance of the UX & Discovery department, the Digital Collections Discussion Group creates a space for connection among Harvard staff working on digital collections. The need for increased communication on issues specific to digital collection development was surfaced by theĀ 2022 Digital Collections Discovery Landscape Review and Report. Topics of discussion will include, but are not limited to, description practices, image processing, and copyright review. The group will also provide a needed discussion forum regarding the features and functionality of digital collections infrastructure at Harvard Library. The convener will seek feedback from the UX & Discovery department as priorities shift.

Note that a Harvard Key is required to view the discussion group’s space on the Harvard wiki, including the landscape review.

Conveners
