What We Do

We collaborate with our library colleagues to plan, design, and build sustainable digital collections. Our work makes Harvard Library’s digital content findable and usable.

Consultation

We provide guidance to Harvard Library colleagues on topics including:

  • Building digital collections and exhibitions in CURIOSity
  • Contributing Harvard Library collections to external projects through mass digitization, metadata sharing, or collections sharing
  • Assessing the risk of publishing digital collections due to copyright or privacy
  • Implementing standardized rights statements
  • Creating or revising descriptive metadata that will appear in multiple discovery environments
  • Sustaining digital collections throughout their lifecycle
